Auxiliary Tool Design

The protection of the knee joint plays a vital role in the life of the elderly and the patients with lower limb dysfunction and is the largest bearing joint of the human body. A degenerative change in the knee joint of a person to middle age leads to pain and stiffness. For patients with lower limb dysfunction, the rehabilitation of knee joints is essential in the process of rehabilitation. The design helps the patient to relieve the pressure of the knee during walking and helps to assist the force through the shock absorbing design and the efficient tension spring structure assisting device.

This design has won DESIGN INTALLIGENCE AWARD, GLODEN FROG AWARD R&D ECCELLENT GRADUZTION DESIGN and INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION FOR FATION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AWARD in 2018.

This design is exhibited at the Art Museum of China Academy of Art.
