Teng Teng was teaching at Cornell University in 2018-2019.

Before Cornell, his former academic roles include serving as leading faculty of Innovative Design Lab at Fudan University - Shanghai Institute of Visual Art (SIVA) from 2016 to 2017; lecturer of design technology courses and undergraduate thesis tutor at SIVA school of design from 2015 to 2016.
